Purpose and Goals

Entering our 16th summer, Gan Izzy Day Camp of Issaquah Sammamish was created in order to provide Jewish children with a comprehensive and meaningful summer program fostering their growth individually, socially and jewishly. The daily schedule includes an exciting mix of sports, crafts, field trips, swimming and other activities. These are designed to be educational, fun and conducive in building character and nurturing friendships.

Campers

Camp Gan Israel is geared towards children entering 1st-7th grade. Children come from a variety of Jewish backgrounds.

Gani Preschool camp is geared towards preschoolers 3-Kindergarten

Staff

Counselors are chosen for their warmth and personality. One of the highest priorities of Camp Gan Israel is to nurture each camper with personal devotion. Careful consideration is taken to ensure optimum counselor/camper ration.

Gani Preschool Camp: Morah Sabrina Zelezniak will stay on to run the summer program alongside counselors who are hired for the four weeks of camp. This insures familiarity and the same level of care that our preschoolers enjoy during the year

Safety

Safety is of primary importance. Contact between the camp director and counselors are maintained throughout the camp day by their presence or way of mobile communications. In case of an emergency, parents or guardians will be contacted promptly.
