What are camp hours?

Gates open at 8:45 AM. Camp begins promptly at 9:00 AM.
Pickup is between 3:45 PM and 4:00 PM.

Aftercare is available until 4:45 PM for families who need extended pickup time.

Who is Camp Gan Israel for?

Camp is open to children entering Kindergarten through 6th Grade.

Camp scheduling is divided into three divisions for age-appropriate programming:

Division A: Entering Kindergarten through 2nd Grade
Division B: Entering 3rd through 6th Grade Girls
Division C: Entering 3rd through 6th Grade Boys

Camp Gan Israel is a Jewish day camp created to give Jewish children a strong sense of identity, pride, and belonging. Our campers come from a wide range of backgrounds and levels of observance.

Camp enrollment follows halachic guidelines regarding Jewish status.

Do I need to be Israeli to attend?

No. Camp Gan Israel welcomes Jewish children from all backgrounds. We have both Israeli and non-Israeli families, and our program reflects the diversity of the Jewish community.

What is the cost of camp?

Tuition is $400 per week.

A $100 deposit is charged at the time of application and applied toward tuition. Full payment is required prior to attendance.

Is transportation available?

Yes. We offer optional bus transportation from Bellevue/Redmond.

Pickup and drop-off location:

Morning departure: 8:30 AM
Return: 4:15 PM

Cost: $40 per week.

Is aftercare available?

Yes. Aftercare runs from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM and includes supervised free play.

Cost: $40 per week.

What should my child bring?

Campers should bring:

A packed dairy/vegetarian lunch (no meat)
Snacks
A refillable water bottle
Swim gear on scheduled swim days

Please label all personal belongings.

How does swimming work?

Campers swim at Beaver Lake under certified lifeguard supervision.

Division A (Kindergarten through 2nd Grade) campers are required to wear life jackets while swimming.

Campers in Divisions B and C who wish to swim without a life jacket must complete a swim declaration form during final registration indicating their swim ability. Based on the parent’s declaration and lifeguard assessment, campers may be approved to swim without a life jacket.

Campers swimming without life jackets wear color-coded swim caps for additional safety identification.

Life jackets are provided by parents and may remain at camp during the week.

What are field trip days?

Field trips take place on Wednesdays for most divisions.

Division C (3rd–6th Grade Boys) has their trip day on Thursdays.

Are phones allowed?

Camp maintains a phone-free environment so campers can be fully engaged. If a device is brought to camp, it may be held by administration during camp hours.
